GOAL: To attract the interest of Richland County residents involved in selling/serving food.
PRIMARY TARGET AUDIENCE: Persons who make decisions regarding the purchase of food for sale at concessions’/food stands in the county.
- To build relationships among G.R.A.C.E. Team Leaders, Team Members and Richland FIT Coalition members through a fun and interactive event.
- To promote collaboration among community members who are vested in the success of food or concessions’ stand in the county.
- To implement CHOICES for customers seeking them. For each participating G.R.A.C.E. team to select options to add to the 2017 concessions’ stand fundraising season.
- To provide nutrition education to the county with respect to the prevention of cancer through environmental changes.
ACTIONS: G.R.A.C.E. Team Leaders and FIT coaches meet ahead of time to make decisions about food choices then prepare food and offer samples at the event on the 20th. Attendees to the event will be able sample food choices for possible future sale at food stands.
