The Richland Middle School has the largest in-ground garden in the district. The garden plot was tilled for the 2013-14 school year to use in the Enrichment program. This year a deer fence was put around it and plants are already growing!
What’s planted? Tomatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Onions, Herbs, Watermelons, Sunflowers, Green Beans, Peas, Brussel Sprouts, Peppers, Cabbage, Eggplant, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Beets, carrots, Acorn and Butternut Squash.
